About Cori's K9 Training
Meet the owner and lead trainer
Cori spent 12 years living in Belize, Central America and that is where her love for helping dogs
really took hold. Taking in dogs off the street and bringing them to the local humane society
where they could get the help they needed and adopted out, and often fostering many of those
neglected dogs until they found their permanent home. With fostering there were many
challenges, often these dogs had faced many hardships of neglect and abuse, these were the
dogs that needed the most help. Through a local trainer Katia Marin, Cori began her education
so she could continue to help these dogs in a positive and loving way. Cori moved back to
Canada in 2021 and she immediately started her training business in her home town of Calgary
Alberta. Providing private training services to help dog owners better communicate with their
canine companions through effective leadership skills, building solid foundations and creating
positive relationships.
Helping you understand the “why” to your dogs behavior and formulating the “how” to improve your relationship by developing a customized training plan suited to their specific needs and behaviors. All sessions are private and in the comfort of your home.
